These settings determine how OctaGate Switch behaves during a server failure.
Max Fail Before Offline
This value determines how many times a server is "allowed" to fail before it's considered to be offline. The default value is 1, which means that a short server hickup will not terminate all current user sessions. This value, together with Failover Check Interval, will determine how long a server can be failing before it's considered offline. Generally, you will want to keep this value low.
Failover Check Interval Failover Check Interval determines how often OctaGate Switch will check the servers in the server cluster, measured in seconds. If this value is 10, for instance, OctaGate Switch will try to connect to all servers in the cluster every 10 seconds.
